“ I just wanted to say thank you for the wonderful experience at your restaurant. The atmosphere was great and the food was delicious, but what really stood out to me was the warm welcome and professionalism of the reception staff. “ La Petite Maison has always been one of my favorite places for food, but unfortunately my last experience in Cannes was disappointing due to the manager and the way the reservation system works. I searched for the restaurant on Google Maps and made my reservation through the website linked there. When I arrived, I was surprised to be told that my booking was not for this restaurant, but for another one owned by La Petite Maison. I showed them my confirmation, but the staff explained that when they are fully booked, they automatically redirect reservations to another restaurant under the same ownership — without asking the customer. The manager then led me to the door and told me to walk “just 10 minutes” to the other location, while in reality it was a 30-minute walk. When I tried to explain, he simply ignored me and went on to welcome other guests. I called the other restaurant, who advised me to cancel the reservation. When I went back to the reception, another girl (much friendlier than the manager) helped me and managed to give me a table for one hour. Thanks to her, I stayed and had a lovely meal. The food was excellent as always. However, this is not a professional way to handle customers. If I wanted to book at another restaurant, I would have done so directly through their own website. Confusing customers and redirecting them without consent is not acceptable and risks damaging the reputation of La Petite Maison. ”

However, while the food is exceptional, the service fell short on our visit. Despite the attentive staff throughout the meal, we found ourselves waiting far too long for the check at the end of the evening, which took away from an otherwise wonderful experience. Overall, La Petite Maison is a must-visit for its cuisine, but a little more attention to the service, especially when it comes to closing the meal, would make it even better. ”
